Media & Journalist Guide
Petanque Life provides media professionals with accreditation, live data feeds, statistical resources, and photo/video access. This guide helps you get the most out of the platform for your reporting needs.

Accreditation
Apply for and manage your media accreditation.
Step 1: Apply
Navigate to Media → Accreditation. Submit your application with your organization, role, and portfolio. Select the events you wish to cover.
Step 2: Receive Credentials
Once approved, you receive a digital media credential. Present it at events for press area access. Your credential is visible in the app.
Step 3: Manage Access
View your active accreditations, approved events, and access level. Request additional event accreditation as the season progresses.
Live Reporting
Access live data feeds and real-time competition information.
Step 1: Live Scores
Access real-time match scores, bracket progression, and competition standings. Data updates as soon as scores are entered by officials.
Step 2: Data Feeds
Use the media API for structured data feeds. Integrate live scores into your publication's live blog, app, or broadcast graphics.
Step 3: Push Notifications
Subscribe to push notifications for specific matches or competitions. Receive instant alerts for results, upsets, and milestones.
Statistics & Data
Access historical and real-time statistical data.
Step 1: Player Statistics
Look up any public player profile to see their career statistics: competition history, win/loss record, ranking progression, and head-to-head records.
Step 2: Competition Data
Access complete competition data: results, brackets, statistics, and historical records. Compare across seasons and competition levels.
Step 3: Export & API
Export data in CSV or JSON format. Use the public API for programmatic access to rankings, results, and player data for research and analysis.
Photo & Video Access
Access media galleries and content resources.
Step 1: Media Gallery
Browse the official media gallery for each competition. Download high-resolution photos and video clips for editorial use (with proper attribution).
Step 2: Press Releases
Access federation press releases, event announcements, and official statements. Subscribe to receive press releases as they are published.
Step 3: Content Embeds
Embed live scoreboards, rankings tables, and competition brackets directly into your publication using our embed widgets.
