Graphics are the visual handshake between the field and the audience. A score bug that renders late, a lower-third with a misspelled name, or a bracket that doesn't update during a montage all signal amateurism to viewers and sponsors alike.

Broadcast directors need overlays that are designable in their brand, driven by live data with frame-accurate timing, and resilient to network hiccups. Pluggability into OBS, vMix, and broadcast NDI workflows is mandatory — productions cannot adopt a closed graphics stack mid-season because half their production library would break.

Our graphics package ships as a browser-source layer with OBS, vMix, and NDI-compatible bindings. Templates cover score bugs, lower-thirds, brackets, head-to-head splits, and sponsor frames.

Each template binds to the live SSE feed with sub-second update latency and includes a local fallback mode that holds the last known state during transient network drops.

Production scheduling is a long lead-time game. Trucks, crews, talent, and uplinks are booked weeks or months out, and every cancellation cascades through the budget.

Broadcasters need an authoritative calendar that distinguishes proposed from confirmed events, surfaces venue logistics (power, internet, court layout), and exposes media rights status — who holds them, what windows are clear, and which territories are open. A unified calendar replaces the email chains and PDF schedules that currently dominate production planning across federations.

The platform's event calendar exposes confirmed schedules with venue metadata (power, fibre, parking, court count), broadcast windows, and rights status flagged per event. Production teams can subscribe to filtered views by federation, tier, and territory, with iCal/CalDAV export and webhook notifications when schedules or rights change.

Long-lead views surface up to 18 months ahead so production budgets and crew bookings can lock in early.

Commentators and graphics operators sit in trucks or remote galleries that may be hundreds of metres or thousands of kilometres from the court. Their entire situational awareness depends on a clean data feed: which player is throwing, the running score, the carreau just played, the bracket implications of the next end.

A feed with even a two-second lag forces commentators to talk past the visible action. For pétanque, where ends can resolve in seconds and emotional beats matter, sub-second latency is what separates a credible broadcast from an embarrassment.

Live data flows over SSE with sub-second p95 latency from court-side scoring to broadcast clients. The feed includes player IDs, end-by-end events, carreau and tir markers, and authoritative result confirmations.

A redundant edge layer in North Europe and France ensures continuity, with structured heartbeats so production engineers can monitor freshness on their dashboards.
