Head-to-Head & Comparison Tools

The platform indexes every confirmed match in a fast lookup keyed by participant pairs and aggregates on demand. Head-to-head comparison between any two players returns the full record (matches, wins, losses, average score, biggest win, last meeting), the ELO delta, and the chronological match list. Team vs team comparison runs the same logic at the club or nation level — useful for derbies and historical rivalries.

The player comparison tool puts two profiles side by side: federation points, global ELO across formats, recent form, win rate by class, throw-accuracy splits, partnership history, and a clear visualization of strengths and weaknesses. Pre-match prediction uses the ELO delta and form factor to compute a win probability — displayed before scheduled matches and used as input by ELO-based matchmaking for casual play (F04.13). The form guide shows the last 5/10/20 results with W/L streak indicators, color-coded for momentum.

Surface/terrain performance comparison classifies every venue (indoor vs outdoor, gravel vs sand vs hardpacked) and shows each player's record by surface — important context for finals on unfamiliar terrain. Rivalry tracking surfaces frequent opponents (>10 meetings) and notable matchups (championship finals, multi-set deciders, biggest upsets). All comparisons are public and embeddable on club or fan sites, while logged-in users get personalised recommendations ("You have never beaten X", "Your rivalry with Y stands at 7-8").
